My iron says 24V on it

 

Will the thermocouple be the same or do the use a different thermo couple

Yes, they should be the same thermocouple type... the cheapest that can handle more than 200c, some k type usually.

There may be a few degrees celsius difference between temperature sensors, but the soldering station will have a potentiometer/trimmer to calibrate.

Don't mind small inaccuracies, just don't want it to spit out an error
