Video Recording ports

Hello. I was just wondering what ports I could record video over between a gigabyte GA-Z87N-WIFI motherboard and a Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 graphics card. Thanks.

Oh sorry if I wasn't clear. I meant what ports on either the motherboard or the video card could be used to capture video from an external source.

usually, with an USB device with what you have now. there really isn't a dedicated

"port" on any of those to provide an input digital/analog signal. depending on quality

of picture, the dedicated video capture card would be the best, USB devices are good.

None of the ports on your Motherboard or GPU are capable of input, only output. You will need to purchase a video capture card to be able to record input.
