Hi,

I just got my rtx 3080 from gainward that I bought last week.

I just went on and installed it, jumped into a game, and noticed how bad the performance was.

Btw this is my first ever nvidia card, I was fully team red before and had a RX 5700 Founders before which performed better!

Are there any settings I'm missing?

Rest of the setup:

16GB ddr4

Ryzen 3700X

1tb ssd

1tb hdd

Asrock B450 (iirc)

I'm also reinstalling windows atm maybe that helps :(

Best regards!

You have to DDU your AMD drivers and then fresh install the Nvidia drivers using Geforce Experience. If you didn't do that you were likely getting driver conflicts. If you are fresh installing windows then just make sure to install and use Geforce Experience to get the drivers before playing anything.
