laptop to monitor

OK so i have a RTX 2060 Ryzen 7 4800H 16gb ram 144hz laptop and i wanna connect it to a monitor would there be high input delay if i do this and the reason for doing this is that im more used to monitors then laptop screens

Connect to an external monitor will have a very very small delay. Most likely you won't notice it.

would doing this not affect the FPS and btw the monitor refresh rate is 60hz

With 60Hz monitor, you don't have to worry about delay. The monitor from a laptop has very short distance to get the signal. Usually it will have less lag compares to external. But connecting your laptop to an external monitor is the no difference to a normal desktop connecting to a monitor. We're talking about a few ms difference.
