Hello just curious havent looked at alot of new products lately and was mainly curious whats out there now since im planning on building a new pc. So i probably have a budget round like 1 grand give or take (canadian) mainly asking about cpu area since theres so many new ones. What would be the best cpu for me to get while not breaking bank. I was looking at the i5 10600k i think but i would love opinions

the 10600k is very good, but might be a bit expensive if you have a total 1k CAD budget. 

the next gen ryzen series will be announced in 2 weeks, and their 6 cores should be similar in performance to the 10600k, but cheaper.

otherwise, a good old trusted 3600 is always a good option.

 

on the gpu side, nvidia launched the 3000 series, however none of them are yet in your budget. hopefully they will launch the 3060 soon for more budget oriented users.

amd is launching the 6000 series towards the end of october as well.

There is a range for the price i got a gpu that my coworkers selling me for a good price so not really worried know its gunna cost abit more but thats ok. Just mainly was curious for cpu since they came out with so many.

as I said, if you're set on intel, the 10600k is the best option at the moment.
