High Airflow vs Static Pressure?

I dont really understand the benefits of static pressure compared to HAF. What is the diff? Should I buy Noctua case fans or Corsair Static P

I'm pretty sure the airflow fans are for the case, the static pressure ones are for radiators.

I'm pretty sure the airflow fans are for the case, the static pressure ones are for radiators.

^Yup that pretty much sums it up. AF fans are best used on cases and SP fans are best used on radiators. SP fans work pretty well for case fans too, if you need to push air between two GPUs or something.

Others are for Rads whereas others are for case airflow.

SP make a faster rotation, so it's going to make a hell lot of noises if you put it on the case.

AF doesn't cool your cpu cooler enough.

nope, that not true, its all about how the blades are shaped....

not their rotation speed

well with all the airfilters the cases have these days, i found AP fans to be better for intakes aswell, while AF fans are good for exausts/general case airflow
