Old PSU question

CORSAIR RM750 750W 80+ Gold Full Modular

IIRC it's better than the Cooler Master, about the same quality as the AMP , quieter than the AMP (they use the same fan, but the AMP has a more aggressive fan profile IIRC).

Probably around 300W. Should support 2080ti, provided it hasn't degraded much over the years. Most certainly not the new 3000 series though XD

EDIT: didn't see it only has 6pin power connectors. My statement is thus invalid. I wouldn't use this PSU for anything. Buy a new one.

I wouldn't use any GPU with it to be honest. 230V only, only 400w on the 12V rail when they call it a "600w" PSU. I would only use it for cheap cards that you don't care about losing. Honestly, I would get a better PSU.

Well, I wouldn't want PSU advice from you. Imagine using a high-value GPU with a cheap PSU that isn't full-range. It's not even capable of supporting the 2080Ti since it's 2 6 pins, not even 6+2 pin so the connectors wouldn't even work without an adapter.

MAIN PC:

CPU: AMD Ryzen™ 7 7800X3D Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 Eagle AX CPU Cooler: EVGA CLC 240 GPU: EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra RAM: TEAMGROUP Expert T-Create 32GB (2x16GB) 6000Mhz CL30

Case: CoolerMaster TD500 Mesh PSU: Thermaltake GF1 PE 750w Storage: 1TB Western Digital Blue 3D + 1TB Crucial P1 + 1TB ADATA XPG Gammix S11 Pro + 4TB Seagate Barracuda 5400RPM OS: Windows 10 Home

Headphones: Philips SHP9500s   Keyboard: Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 Cherry MX Red Displays: Gigabyte M27Q (27" 1440p 170hz IPS), Samsung UN32EH4003FXZA (32" 768p 60hz TV)

Former parts that I've used:  Intel® Core™ i3-9100F, Intel® Core™ i9-9900k, Asus Dual OC 2080, Gigabyte Aorus Master 3080, Gigabyte Gaming OC 3080, EVGA XC3 Ultra 3080, EVGA FTW3 Ultra 3080 Ti, EVGA 3060 XC, ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming 4-CB, Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro Wifi, ADATA XPG 16GB (2x8GB) 2400Mhz CL16, Corsair Vengeance 32GB (4x8GB) 3000Mhz CL15, Scythe Fuma 2, Acer XG270HU.

I was thinking more along the lines of an 8800 GT. The 6pin PCIe connectors (not 8pin) should be a giveaway that using it for a 2080Ti wouldn't be a good idea.

Like Jon pointed out the information shown on the label doesn't give much confidence. I wouldn't put anything more than a 1050Ti or similar in there, though depending what you're trying to do with the system in regards to upgrades it might be worthwhile looking at a new PSU.

I'm sorry, didn't see that it only had 6pin. I stand corrected

well it's from an old office pc anyway. Never mind, can someone suggest a decent psu which can handle a minimum 95watt cpu alongside with rtx 2060 ?

Budget and country?

around $100. Also how good is this one?

Cooler Master MPY-7501-AFAAG-EU MWE 750W 80+ Gold Full Modular

That one isn't bad, a little high on the wattage for a rtx 2060 build, but future-proofed for the 3080 if you ever wanted to get one. There's the Phanteks AMP for $90 (550w), $104 (650w), and $108 (750w), on Amazon. It's basically a rebranded Seasonic GX, both of which have a better build quality than the Cooler Master PSU.

This is assuming US. If you are in a different country, please let me know.

I'll check phanteks AMP later. I found the corsair one , assuming its better quality brand than cooler master. What do u say about this one? Also is it compatible with gigabyte h110m gaming mobo?
