Hey, I just changed my intel 7700k and z170 mobo for an amd 3700x and x570 mobo. I should be able to run my game at least as good as before. However, I get terribly slow or dropping frames in my games.

After getting it set up, I installed (not uninstalled first) the latest nvidia drivers because I am using the same gtx 1080 ti that I was before, and I tried to get windows to update any updates that may have came out.

Should I download windows 10 on a flash drive and dry to completely reinstall windows? I can't wipe everything, because I have a lot of things I want to keep. I have a 1 TB ssd samsung 870. And If I should reinstall windows, is there a way to not loose everything I have? I don't have an external drive or any other drives.

preferably yes

better to do a fresh install after a major hardware upgrade, to remove old drivers that might cause issues

you'll need an external/secondary drive, unfortunately.

backup whatever is on your OS drive (you can copy the entirety of it) to your backup drive, then shut down, unplug all but the OS drive and USB installer, and do your install, then plug them back in when you finish windows installation (this is to prevent any partitioning error that sometimes occur when installing windows)

but before you reinstall windows, no harm trying DDU and reinstalling the GPU driver, see if that helps

and change power plan to AMD balanced

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

Well since I don't have another drive, I guess a free cloud storage? I have not touched a single one except Drop. That was 5 years ago or so. What would be a fast free cloud storage for me to put my essentials. I have a USB drive with the windows boot install media ready to go.

google drive is always a good alternative. you get 15gb for free with every account plus as much as you want if you are ready to pay something.

edit:

100gb cost 2€/month

200gb cost 3€/month

i would guess prices are similar in usd :)
