hi tech brother i bet you guys can help me out here i have a i7-9700kf OC a z390sli motherboard and running a 2070 super, so now i have a question if i buy a gtx 3070 can i just trow that sucker in and be a happy gamer or is it gonna bottleneck and make my life a living hell? and do i need an extra cord? thanks in advans :)

You'll be fine, as long as your PSU is a 550w or decent greater unit.

The reviews of the 3080 went live yesterday. And even a r5 3600 does not bottleneck the GPU at all. So a 9700Kf will be completely fine with a 3070.

 

(Sure, a 10900K is "better", but the extra performance gain is not noticeable and certainly doesn't justify an upgrade.)

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
