Buying advice

[Taking Flight]

My Hyper X Cloud 2's have finally died after 4 years.

Very new to anything audio related, got about $200 to spend on new headphones and mic, not sure if they should be separate or not. 

Primary use case is MOBA gaming, with voice chat in Discord. Also listen to lots of music.  

Any Help is greatly appreciated.

if you can stretch the budget by like 20$ you can get this combo. amazing for music and the mic replaces the cable for the headphones so you can still only have one cable. the 599's are epic for music and do occasionally go on sale for $170 but it's uncommon.

Going separate mic and headphone is generally the better way to go. What kind of music do you listen to?
