Yes, it will.

Though, I say this every time this comes up, you really shouldn't be using Windows 7 anymore (unless the PC's not connected to a network, I guess). It's 7 months out of date in terms of security.

You should upgrade to Windows 10, especially if you wanna game with DirectX 12.

Now days when someone with Windows 7 has a problem people say: "Just upgrade to Windows 10"

The problem with that narrative is that 90% of those problems can be solved,

For example i wanted to benchmark an overclocked GPU using a game, and Unreal Engine gave me an error:

The solution was simple - make a copy of XINPUT1_3.dll and rename the copy to XINPUT1_4.dll.

The reason i and many overclockers use Windows 7 is because it's performance especially in CPU heavy workloads.

It's a great platform for overclockers,it's easy to deal with,it's light and it's fast.

If you want to achieve a world record Windows 7 is the recommended operating system.

99% of people are not extreme overclockers.

From a performance standpoint, it's good. Sometimes or often better than Windows 10.

My recommendations for moving away from Windows 7 aren't because of bugs or incompatibility, it's because it's insecure now. If someone wants to buy ESU licensing for Windows 7, fair enough, continue using it and it's fine. I don't even recommend moving to Windows 10 specifically, just to something that's actually receiving security updates (outside of ESU support)

If you have it in a secure environment for somewhat niche use cases like yours, no problem. Though it's really up to the individual on how much they care about security. I'll still recommend moving away from it for most people as their reason for staying is often that they just don't like WIndows 10 for whatever reason, which I feel isn't really a reason to use a vulnerable OS.
