Are you sure the laptop goes to sleep, or is it turning off?

See if this happens if you run a stress test continuously. It could be a stability issue.

You can also roll back the BIOS, you know.

Reverting the BIOS probably would work. It can't be overheating, because most laptop'll throttle if past it's safe temperature anyway.

Humor me, as you should do.

If it was overheating to the point where it shuts off, he'd probably have mentioned it.

Well, we wouldn't really know until we see it by ourselves, still agree with that somehow.

As far as I know, laptop nowadays just throttle down when it start to overheating (like I got one case where a friend's laptop just dropping fps while it's 1050 GPU touching 90 degrees). But I got one case on my old laptop that'll just turn it off itself (old AMD APU laptop tho) if it's getting too hot. Still, correct me if there's a case like that with recent laptops, anyway.

Humor me, as you should do.

Do you have guides for rolling back the bios version. I have no idea how to do it.

Btw thanks for the reply

Go to the laptop support site, download the older BIOS that was working, and run the file.
