Msi a320m pro-m2 v2 motherboard
Corsair vengeance 32gb 3.2ghz ram
Hyper 212 cpu cooler
Wd blue 1tb hdd
Lexar 256gb ssd
Evga 600 gd 80 plus gold power supply

 

I'm new to pc building and got this as a gift, and I am wondering what I should be upgrading to get this thing to a decent level. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

This. A Cheep b550 will be much higher quality.

Then this. A used rtx 20xx cats after the 3070 comes out in October will be a huge upgrade.

all depends on what you want it to do. what will the pc be used for? work horse? streaming? gaming? what resolution and refresh rate do you want?

How much are you able to spend now, and how much are you able to spend later on?

Depending on what you want to do and what your budget is.  Are you a gamer, just read the news, something from work maybe?  What you want to do will depend on things such as these listed here so be sure you know what your intended end result should be.
