Cooling 140 Watt CPU

Hey,

I got a Xeon 2643v3 for cheap and have had it in my PC for half a year now. The thermal throtteling has been very bad (30% on Aida64).

I have a old 120mm AIO on it and wanted to know witch temperatures I have to expect getting a air cooler with a 140W TDP rating and if you have any recomendation for coolers under 50€/$

The ninja 5 is even better and same price. It's basically a NHD15 but maybe 2c worse.

Same price as the fuma normally tho. So why not if it fits.

the temperatures were measured on a 6700k with 90W Tdp. What is to expect on a 140W CPU?

Will be fine the cpu was oc'd to 4.8ghz in the review too which makes it consume a lot more power and generate a lot more heat than the xeon ever will.
