Are you using Windows 8 official disk?

Things to try:
-> Go in the BIOS, and disable all unused hardware, including floppy controller, if for some reason your motherboard has one.
-> Make sure your system has the latest BIOS
-> Make sure that your graphic card has the latest BIOS
-> Make sure that you have the latest optical drive firmware, if any is available (especially if your optical drive is old).
-> Unplug and remove all extra hardware and peripheral not needed. So: sound card, RAID card, TV Tuner, Printer, webcsm, USB hub, etc.
-> Disable USB 3.0, Legacy USB Support, and all Visualization features of your CPU.
-> Make an ISO out of your Windows 8 disk, and using Windows ISO to USB tool (free: http://wudt.codeplex.com/) make a bootable USB drive, and use that instead of the disk.

If the above does not help, then it's probably faulty memory. Scan your RAM for error with memtest86 (free).
