This SSD and this HDD is a great combo due to you being able to store your main programs and boot on the SSD, while retaining the HDD for games and whatnot.

Shoud I get this KINGSTON SA400 480GB M.2 2280 SATA 6GBPS SSD (SA400M8/480G)? It's gonna be my only storage for everything. Gaming and other stuff.

Is this a reliable M.2 SSD? Let me know down below.

So also your OS?

The A400 is DRAM-less, so I would advise you get something else. What's your budget/location/currency, and do you specifically need it to be M.2, or are you fine with 2.5"?

My experience: Okay for light usage, and when it gets to downloading, gaming, etc, latency is the problem. Just, avoid.

Reminder

The IIA rule applies here:

I'm mostly speaking from experience so what I say may not work

I may be a complete asshole in some threads but I swear that I won't lie

Anyways, I am always glad to help

My budget is $600/Philippines/Peso. I don't really specifically need an M.2 it's just cheaper and it's on stock. So I thought I would ask.

ooookay. Then you could most likely do a whole lot better than that, like Samsung-860-Evo-better.

It's a tight budget though and that Kingston M.2 SSD Barely fits in the budget.
