For the longest time, I had a specific issue with capturing my screen. Whenever I capture my screen in any way (screenshot, video recording, screen sharing, and so on.), colors seem to appear a lot brighter in the capture than they are on my actual screen. I have no idea what is the source of this problem, but I know for sure it's not an issue with my monitor. Why is that? Not too long ago, I got a second monitor for my setup. that second monitor had the same issue as my main one did. The only assumption that I have in mind currently is that my computer color display settings are not synchronized with my monitor. Now I don't know if it's even a thing so I cannot be 100% sure. Now if anyone knows how to fix it so the captured colors will display the same as the ones I see from my monitor, please make sure to contact me or reply to this post. All help is appreciated! Thank you for reading and understanding my post, have a great rest of your day!

Do you use any capture device or is this issue with the software you use?

I do not use any capture device nor a capture card. It is not a problem with the software as it applies to all the softwares I've used and also affects the color on full screen games

Nope not really, but I am scared to do it as I am afraid it will delete all my applications, data, and so on...

you could reset by keeping all your data but all of your applications will be gone. First of all try booting to safe mode and try screenshotting there

I mean I am getting a new computer in not too long. When I get this computer, hopefully the problem will be solved. If not, I will try reinstalling windows as I will not have any data on that PC yet other than like 1 screenshotting app to test if it has fixed or not.
