Hello, everyone.

So, I'm having an issue with my pc where it keeps losing the connection to my Xbox controller.

I use it wired via a USB cable and what will happen is I will play, lets say Destiny 2, and I'll do a mission or whatever and everything is fine...until the game has to load me into a new planet, or the tower, or anywhere that requires a loading screen, and when the game resumes the controller is no longer working, and I have to disconnect the USB, plug it back in, and within a second or so it works, the controller comes back to life and I can continue playing with no issues.

It's just a pain in the backside more than anything life altering.

I chose to use it via USB over bluetooth, as the controller is old and the bluetooth temperamental.

Can anyone think why the controller keeps disconnecting everytime the game loads into a new area and what I can do to fix it?

Thanks, in advance...

Does it happen in other Games aswell or is it just desteny 2 maybe the game itself is acting a bit strange since it happens after loading screens

No, it isn't just D2, it happens on any game I play.

There isn't a problem when I plug it back in, it's perfect...just the fact I have to keep unplugging it then plugging it back in is a bit tiresome.
