On the contrary when they were called ATi the drivers were rock solid.

I cannot agree to this. Ive had I think about 3 ATi cards in the past and oh boy. Drivers were disasters.

Maybe you got lucky?

I know I didnt and neither did my brother and my best friend back then with ATi drivers. They have improved a lot since then, especially in the recent months but they are still not on par with Nvidia.

At the very best they will be at 3090 level for a good deal less cost.

Thats quite optimistic :)

AMDs twitter tease turned out to just be an announcement that there will be an announcement on the 28th of oct .

"AMD #RDNA2 architecture and Radeon RX 6000 Series graphics cards will bring the best of Radeon to gamers worldwide. Learn more October 28."

They love to disappoint it seems.

I know right?

They missed big time this time i feel.

For GPUs that can allegedly challenge Nvidia, arent they a bit late to the party? All we get on 28th of october is an announcement ....

I wont be waiting for their gpus ... If i had something "good" like a 2080 maybe i would wait but im runing an old amd card on a 2k monitor ... cant wait for AMD to get their s*** together.

I think they said that they will also announce Zen3 in october, right? That i will wait for. My cpu needs an upgrade but its not so bad as my gpu.

Now they're just always lagging behind on features, copy everything nv does and that then either works poorly or not at all. It's an embarrassing shit show (excuse my french)

Im pretty sure Nvidia is trying to copy Radeon anti-lag.

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)
