Hi all,

My setup

Motherboard :-Asus  prime a320m-k
Ram :-  Corsair Vengeance Lpx 8 GB (8 GBx1) DDR4 3000MHz
CPU :- RYZEN 5 2600
GPU :- GTX 1070

I wanted to upgrade my ram with a 16gb stick (Corsair Vengeance Lpx 16 GB (16 GBx1) DDR4 3000MHz) .
is it possible to have (16*1 + 8*1) so total 24GB.

I know my motherboard supports max 32 gb ram and i have only 2 ram slots.

Thanks in advances.

Stick with the same DIMM for upgrades. Trying to change something like the capacity is just going to give you issues, and there's no guarantee you'll ever get it to work properly. If you want more RAM, throw out the 8GB stick and go with a 16x2 kit. However, you probably don't need more than 16GB. Having more RAM than you need does nothing for you.
