Videocard Upgrade Suggestion

Hey all,

 

So I recently went from a ASROCK z68 mobo with 8gb of skill ddr 3 and and an i5 2500k sandy bridge to an I7 4770 Hazwell, Asus Maximus VI Hero, and 16gb Corsair Vengenace memory. My current gpu is a galaxy 670 4gb but I'm deciding on if I want to go to 700 series or just hold out till the 800 series gets here. Although the amd's are cheap the Nvidia's still have the better performance/drivers. Suggestions?

Do you have problems playing games the way you want to now?
Then I'd upgrade.

if you can wait, I'd wait.

It's close enough that you won't be waiting 6+ months.

I don't other than some bf4 maps that are a little sluggish (firestorm for example)

Welcome!

Your 670 is enough to play games now and in the future, not necessarily on ultra, but will still get good frames on medium to high. You'll be better off holding out for 8xx because as it's been said earlier, the release will be soonish.
