So anyone have this Cooler? I'm thinking about getting it for my build refresh. Right now I have stock cooling. Seems like cheap way to cool cpu and GPU. And is there any software with it to control pump/fan Speed? And is the software any good? And can I use any gpu block with it like an ek block?

Edit: I meant glacier 240l

"better off with a cooler from Corsair's Hydro series in my opinion ( H100i, or better ).

I meant glacier 240l but why would I be better with hydro? This one I can add in a GPU. and it gets better temps

It's cheaper, and you can use aftermarket solutions to use a closed loop CPU water cooler for your GPU.

Or you could go custom loop.

For a closed loop on my GPU I would need 2 loops and a kraken g10 so. And the glacier looks really good. Anyone have it?

The Cooler Master Glacer 240L way outperforms any of Corsair's offerings and frequently outperforms 280mm options as well. It has a copper radiator, a more powerful pump, wider tubing, higher static pressure stock fans, and it's modular. There is no competition; however, it does not come with any software. You can use your motherboard BIOS and software suites to control the fan speeds and you can also do what I did and get yourself a Swiftech PWM fan splitter box and control the fans and the pump from a single four-pin header.

OK, how do you control the pump speed? They did it in the Linus tech tips video

edit:

But can I use standard wc hard ware with it like an ek GPU block?

Pump speed is controlled the same way you'd control fan speed: It has a four-pin PWM fan connection and, yes, if you expand the Glacer loop, you're still controlling the pump the same way.

OK, so then I could use a fan controller to control the speed then?

Only if the fan controller supports four-pin fans

Or I could get an adapter. But I think mine does.
