Pc games keep crashing.

              A while ago I got a new motherboard and when I got it my pc games and my pc would crash all the time did trouble shooting like clearing cmos but nothing worked. I assumed it was the motherboard so I ordered a replacement and now the replacement is here. Everything was running fine and then I tried to play Rust and it would crash every time I got into a server. I tried playing another steam game and it would crash also. I later figured out I couldn't play any steam game without it the game crashing. I tried lots of things like verifying game files or updating graphics drivers and they didn't work. Then I went to play different games and now minecraft and valorant are crashing. I have no clue what the problem is because I couldn't of gotten a faulty motherboard twice. If you know what the problem is please tell me. My pc specs are cpu: ryzen 5 2600. gpu: 1660 super. motherboard: asus rog strix b450f gaming. ram: t force 16g of 3200mhz ram. psu Evga bq 600 W 80 + bronze. also ssd and hard drive. if anyone can help me that is much appreciated.

Did you re-install windows ? you probably didn't.

do you have to reinstall windows? cause I didn't know that.

do I have to re install windows or activate windows because I went into settings and under activation it says that windows reported a hardware change and I need to activate windows.

just re-installed windows and games are still crashing so I dont know what the problem is anymore.
