Windows 7 Installation Error HELP!

Im installing Windows 7 for the 1st time on my new PC and when it asks " Where do you want to install windows" and i select a HDD it comes up with  ( Setup was unable to create a new system partition or locate an existing partition ) I dont know what do do and i dont know what it means some one please help me

1. What kind of HDD is it?

 

2. Are you using a USB or Disc for installation?

 

3. Did you check and make sure the SATA data and power cables are properly hooked up?

Has the partition where you want to install windows been formated?

It is a 1TB WB Blue HDD

 

Windows is on a USB not a Disc

 

And all the SATA / Power cables are fine

 

And the HDD has been formated

Try formatting the whole drive first, then create the partition in the same menu.

In the advance options, click the "New" button to create a new partition. Let me know if that works.
