SATA Cable help please

Dear awesome human

 

I have these Sata cables from an "old" computer, and I need to know if I can use em to put in a harddrive on my new computer, as I don't have any of the type that came with the new computer.

Sata 1 is what my current "new" machine is using and Sata 2 is from my old machine.

As far as I know there shouldn't be an issue, but I'd rather be safe than sorry, and I'm not too knowledgeable with this hardware.

Just finished doing it, works like a charm, only problem is that its an "old" harddrive, its so noisy compared to everything else in my pc with its damned clicking noises

 

But finally got some storage space, the 1tb SSD only lasts so long.
