Is sharemouse safe/legit

I recently encountered the need to access to computers simultaneously but I only I have one set of peripherals, so obviously I went looking for KVM software. I was wondering if anyone has ever used sharemouse before and if they can advise me on how legit/safe it is.

I never had problems with it, but just in case don't do banking while it's on...

You could look at barrier, which is free, open-source, and compatible with Linux, Windows, and MacOS.
