I’d say upgrade to a 580 and try to get a cpu with 12 threads and 6 cores

The 580 may not be the best card around but it’s the one I would recommend to a family member building a budget system and it generally holds up on games with physics because of its pretty decent core count

you could go with what @Oswin made  or you could get a used 8700 for like 100-50ish bucks used and then get a psu like an MWE gold 550w/ pure power 11 500w and then get a new gpu like a 5700xt/5700/5600xt.. or you could wait for zen 3 and ampere and big navi.

The market will be so different in a year, you should definitely just wait instead of deciding now.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad
