need help with upgrading

im looking to upgrade either my pc or my monitor, so here it is

alienware x51 r2 (stock)

aoc 2070w

 

i need something pretty low-budget, as i only have an allowance of 10$ a week

really anything possible, more ram may be good, but there are so many options and i dont want to go for a really cheap but crappy ram stick, but i also dont want to get an overpriced one.

this is my first pc, which i've been using for about a year now, and i watch alot of tech videos but i dont really know how things affect the experience.

Get a ssd, and use that as the boot drive. Watch a video on cloning a hdd

i only understand what an ssd is

so thatll be fun

also i havent ever opened up my pc and im scared to because i dont know how much dust there is and i have extreme allergies lol

There are masks for that, make sure you get the right rating for dust particles.

It looks like 6 Gb of ram... thats a little low for any pc, I would recommend a ssd and more ram, (just make sure the ram is compatable with the motherboard.
