COVID Build!!

After killing my gaming laptop with a fair amount of video editing I decided rather than replace the laptop i would build myself a PC, not built one in a few years now so was looking forward to it!!

 

Inside the case is lovely and followed some Linus Tech Tips for cable management on the rear side.... Just ram it shut and ignore it.... no one sees that side hahaha.

 

Build...

 

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 3.8 GHz 12-Core Processor

CPU Cooler: Gigabyte AORUS LIQUID COOLER 360 Liquid CPU Cooler

Motherboard: MSI MEG X570 ACE

Memory: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 64 GB (4 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200

Boot Drive: ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro 512 GB M.2-2280 NVME

Storage 1: ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME

Storage 2: 3TB MSATA SSD (2x 1TB 2x 500gb)

Storage 2 uses a StarTech Dual mSATA SSD to 2.5 inch SATA Adapter 

Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER 8 GB

Case: be quiet! Dark Base Pro 900 Rev. 2

Power Supply: Asus ROG Strix 850 W 80+ Gold Modular

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

Addition Case Fans: Corsair ML140 PRO RGB x3, Corsair LL140 PRO RGB x1, be quiet silent wings x3

i see your back fan mounted inward?  and the cable lopping down by your mb 8pin and a cable from the top rgb strip? going across the top left fan other than that its nice

looks nice! just wanna note that a buddy of mine got this case and aside from some minor build quality issues, the main problem is that the psu extension on his is wired incorrectly and is always hot regardless of the switch's position. i would be very careful with it until you can determine it's wired properly with a voltmeter

basically everything was bought used off of reddit or here, only new component was the case. absolutely nutty deals for some of these parts, ill have to tally it all up once it's "done" :D

The PSU extention is shocking... I've not used it.
