Mobo S/N Location

It's probably on the back, I know it is for my msi motherboard.

Im in the process of filling out the RMA form for my Mobo (problem on seperate thread http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/123914-no-screen-after-bios-update/ ) and need the Serial Number. the picture Msi give shows a large sticker but this is not visible on the front. does that mean that its on the backside and i need to remove the entire mobo to find it?
