Hey guys, first time here.

I wanted to build a cheap computer for my brother and I wanted it to be around $500. I know the build I have is well over that, so I was wondering if you guys could help me cut the price.

This computer is mostly just to play Titanfall, RIFT, WOW . I saw some reviews for this APU and Titanfall. Some were able to run it. This is why i chose such high ram speeds because I heard it helps the APU.

I was wondering if this was true, Higher ram speeds is better for the APU, FPS wise. Im wondering if 2400 is too much, would 1866 be fine.

The reason I chose an APU is because I was planning on using another GPU and crossfire it when I get money for it.

Another question.

Should I use an Nvidia GPU(gtx 650) with this APU? I wasn't sure if Nvidia with an AMD product is a good idea. I know I wouldn't be able to crossfire/SLI it.

Thanks for your help guys!

Hey guys, thanks for the fast responses.

I was just wondering if the PSU was a little low. Besides price, why are you guys choose such low watts?

Also I was wondeirng if anyone knew the answer to my RAM speed and APU fps relation. I saw a vid that they are related but how effective is 2400 vs 1866.

Thanks again guys

Not the greatest but http://semiaccurate.com/2014/01/15/exploring-effect-memory-bandwidth-amds-kaveri/ and http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=article&item=amd_ddr3_2400mhz&num=2 provide a few hard numbers.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Thanks for all your help guys.

This is probably what i'm going to go with in the end

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/34Xf2

read this to see if my logic is correct.

I chose this mobo because the socket is FM2+ so i can use the 760k(FM2) on it, and in the future potentially upgrade to an APU or something.

I am going to be using my old GTX 650 2GB GigaByte on this build and replace my old with the new 750ti.

For the monitor I am jsut gong to use an old 17inch to save money at this point.

I chose the 1 8gb of RAM incase i want to upgrade because this mobo only has two RAM slots.

Are you guys sure 350W is enough power? AND should i get a bronze certified+ or higher PSU? heard these were worth it

Thanks for your time.
