Ryzen 5 3600   =RM789+some kind of b450 board

I am not upgrading,i only game so is the 10400f better with its slighty higher single threaded performance if so which motherboard should i pair it with

i would avoid h and b series boards and would not get a locked intel chip.

would go with the 3600 combo.

for the 3600, b450 pro 4 and the a pro max (non m) and the pro vdh max and the mortar max and the tomahawk max and the b550 pro vdh are all decent budget options.

it's a locked chip and H series boards do limit ram frequency which will end up affecting  the cpu's performance by a bit and they're quite subpart.
