i recently got an ssd installed in my computer so now when i turn on my computer i can boot into 2 different versions one on the hard drive and one on the ssd. when i launch the version on my ssd and try to use my rekorbox software there is nothing there no license key and no music files but then when i launch in to the old hard drive everything is there with the license key and files in proper order in the rekorbox software is there any fix for when i launch from the ssd to have the the software just work as if i booted from the hard drive?

but can i not use the ssd just to boot from then use the old files on the hard drive to make my software work

Correct, you can not do this. How big is your SSD and how big is your hard drive? If the SSD is larger, you can easily image the HDD to the SSD (make an exact copy). This way all of your files and such will be exactly as you had then, just on the faster SSD. Or, you can keep it how it is now, format your hard drive (after copying needed data to the SSD or an external drive), and install all your software again on the SSD’s Windows version. You can instal software to either ssd hdd, but you have to DO that installation from the SSD’s windows instal. The SSD’s windows version has no ability to run programs that were installed by a totally different operating system (the one on the hard drive) which is why you would have to do either of these two methods.
