I mean it couldn't hurt to try. You may have to run it on the lowest settings, but paladins doesn't look too terrible with low-end graphics. If they say that t can run on 512 MB, then I doubt a 3MB difference will hurt you that much. Unless the game is specifically programmed to not let you run it if you don't have 512. I've run paladins on a laptop with integrated graphics and six gigs of ram before perfectly fine. You'd be surprised how little the game actually demands.

Also, if it's not wanting to work, and you've got the budget for a cheap GPU upgrade, you could get something cheap like a GT 1030 which is plenty enough to run the game for only $90. You could also get a used card instead for possibly cheaper if you're willing to take the risk.
