Hello, we're looking at purchasing a wireless mesh combo & looking at Freemesh Wireless as a good alternative to maybe something like the ever watchful eye of the google mesh satellites devices... But I'm not sure about them b/c I don't see any more than 1 review for it. And wasn't sure if there's just a lack of information about the product or if it was being hidden by something bigger... Maybe a review could be in order? Anyone have information about this & if it's as good as the alternatives?

How about Netgear Orbi? Or Ubiquiti Amplifi? Or anything else that isn’t from one of the slightly shady companies (Google, Eero [something about them makes me not trust them with my data], etc), but has a decent number of users and reviews?

I only looked at the homepage, but what they have looks fine - OpenWRT is a good base, and their hardware specs are fine. But they’re just cleaning up what is already available on OpenWRT, and providing routers that are pre-flashed and slightly pre-configured. If that appeals to you then it seems fine to me. I would either go with a company that I know will have better support (like Netgear) or build it myself using OpenWRT.

EDIT: I was concerned because they claim being open source, but didn’t have a link from their site to their source. But it was easy enough to find via Google: https://gitlab.com/slthomason/freemesh/-/tree/master so in terms of being open source they are fine.

Looking to buy GTX690, other multi-GPU cards, or single-slot graphics cards:
