Hi, I'm using my laptop and connect it to my monitor. I'm having problem with my monitor as it says 'out of range'. This has never happen before, this recently happens when I have to connect my laptop to a projector using a VGA to HDMI adapter, at my campus. After that, when I reconnect my monitor to my laptop, it says 'out of range'. after fiddling with the intel HD Graphics settings, it showed up on my monitor but the resolution was off. When I check under Advance Display Settings, it says that my laptop screen Desktop resolution is 1920x1080, and Active Resolution 1920x1080 at 60fps. But, my monitor 'Active Resolution' is pushing 1152x864, while it's 'Desktop Resolution' is 1920x1080 and running at 75fps. So my monitor Active Resolution is lower than it's desktop / native resolution.

-Laptop Screen = 1920x1080 60Hz - connected to Intel HD Graphics

 Desktop Resollution = 1920x1080

 Active Resolution = 1920x1080

FPS = 60

-Monitor = 1920x1080 75Hz - connected to NVIDIA GTX1060

 Desktop Resolution = 1920x1080

 Active Resolution = 1152x864

FPS = 75

I'm using HDMI cable to connect the monitor to my laptop. When I change the Active Resolution of my monitor to match with the Desktop Resolution, it says 'Out of Range' again. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? This really bothers me a lot as I multitask with my monitor for my Graphic Designs. THANK YOU.
