CPU bottlenecking GPU-upgrade?

I'm currently on a i5 750 and a GTX 260.

I know, I know.. :rolleyes:

 

 

Would a GPU-upgrade still be worth it or would the GPU be completely bottlenecked by the CPU?

I'm thinking along the lines of a 750TI.

you should be fine with newer cards. Some higher end cards like a 770 will probably be held back a bit by the i5 750 but if you get a good cpu overclock  then you should be fine. Even with cpu bottleneck you will still see improvements. first gen i5/i7 are still capable chips!
