Next week the house electrics will be rewired so to make it easier and faster as its a old house with thick walls I need to move everything out off the floor like furniture for a few day's.  I have a old (20 year) desk that's been in the same room all this time, its to big to move out the room so will have to break it down so am looking for a new desk for my computer when everything all done.

My setup includes 2 24" monitors with speakers on the end of each side of the desk, am looking for a desk that is about 5 -6 feet long with cable management.

Any good idea's with a budget of £200ish

Would something like this work for you? http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/50219044/

That's not my style am looking for, I don't need shelving like that one, also my desk is normally under a window so the high Shelving could cause problems.

I would go for something like that but putting the desk in a corner is not a option for me as there is limited places where I can put a desk and none of them is in a corner other wise I would consider a L shaped Desk

This is the table top I have: http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/20251356/#/70251354 It's quite nice. You can choose legs depending on your style.

I would just browse around ikea and see what they have.

Buy a piece of wood in the right size.....select kind of wood that you like. Buy two feet in the right height or adjustable. Mount the feet on one side of the table facing you.

Drill a 4x4 or other piece of wood into the the wall at the right height. put the table up so it stands of the feet on one side and on the 4x4 on the other. Drill a few screws through the table into the 4x4.

Finished.

Cheaper, better and more customiseable.

I have holes for cables at the right places and everything in mine. And it looks really cool.
