Top mounted psu

Go to solution Solved by none77,

When the PSU top mounted with fan down it take air from the case and throw it out, with your setup it's looks reasonable because it don't expect to produce a lot of heat, if you wan't the amount of hot air in the PSU you should have at least one fan in the rear or top, you can put the fan up and drill holes in the case that air will enter from top, outside the case.

Hi.i need help. I have an old pc case that the psu is mounted on top.The question is can i use it on my new pc build? Is that dangerous?cause im not a person that wants a fancy rgb thing. I just want the performance and reliability of my pc.And my second crazy question is does my psu will fall ? Because its on top?? 馃槗馃槗
