Having problems loading games on new system

Go to solution Solved by zignblowfly,

ran SMART extended through the WD Dashboard and it claims all is well. the system seems to be running properly now though. games load with one click and Flight sim is now playable. dont know if it was the WD software that did it or the Wisecleaner but something fixed it. thanks again for your help!

I just built a system with a Ryzen 3800x/ Aorus Master x570 running bios f11/ 16GB crucial ballistix ram/ Windows home 64/ GTX 980ti/ WD Black m.2 1TB. I'm waiting for the new gpus but amazingly the 980ti still kills it on most games. So the problem is the system seems to be having issues downloading, loading and running games as well as not properly downloading Komplete 12 which is a music production suite. The first time i downloaded Komplete 12 it seemed to download properly but the next time i rebooted my system the files were showing as missing and the graphics for the shortcuts went from the proper  graphic to the general file graphic for the desktop shortcut. then i downloaded the crew 2 through uplay+ and I always have to click the shortcut once, wait a couple seconds then double click it again for it to open. last night i tried to download the new Flight Sim 2020 through the xbox pc beta app and game pass and it kept getting about halfway through the download then crash. i was finally able to complete the download tonight but now when i open the xbox app the window opens with the page loaded but i cant click on anything. its like its frozen. then the screen turns black then it somehow sends my system back to user log in. my status code went from AA to A0 which is defined as IDE initialization which i know is not necessarily a bad thing but it seems all this started once the code changed. probably coincidental but wanted to throw that out there as well. is this something going on with the m.2? I'm at a loss. thinking about wiping the whole system and stating over but I REALLY don't want to do that. any help would be greatly appreciated!! thanks! sorry one more thing, when i try to close the crew two it causes the screen to flash then for about a second and a half it shows my desktop but the scale is way to big then it flashs a few more times then goes to the right scale. however now when i try to open settings it does the same thing the xbox app does, it opens but i cant click on anything... thanks again!
