Think you over spent on the CPU if you don't need the cores but besides that it's fine. Also the RGB is making my eyes bleed and I absolutely love it.

I will recommend an NHu12s (or an NHd15 (maybe)) for your PC build. Quote or @ me @Prodigy_Smit for me to see your replies.

Yes this is with PBO in Creator Mode, and yes Cinebench R20

that's lower than my undervolted 3900x

i suggest looking into undervolting as you might be hitting thermal limit with PBO during full loads

might be able to get higher multithreaded perf out of it

though my single thread perf prob much lower since my max freq is 4.0

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

Thank you for the input! I am still completely new to overclocking, and even building my own PC, I Just figured PBO was the best option for me. Its confusing because during Warzone it runs sready at about 4.2ghz and never goes above 65 degrees. Maybe I need to read more but I don't want to go outside of the auto overclocking sue to having a stock cooler. IDK about going into manual OC20200818_092557.thumb.jpg.e3a4fdc70628bb939a34ebd89171c83a.jpg mode.

if you game, PBO is great because it push single thread performance to the limit

yea you wont run into thermal issues unless you load all 12 cores at 100%

the stock cooler handles gaming load just fine

how hot is the CPU during cinebench though? curious how does wraith prism perform on the 3900x

here's mine

Spoiler

image.png

score is 6827, 3900x at 1.1v 4.0 on CCD 0, 3.8-3.9 on CCD 1

cooler is dark rock pro 3 though, so it runs cooler

but still runs at 80c on stock voltage and settings

What I meant was, do *you* like it? Are you satisfied with the quality of the display?

Oh haha sorry, I love it! it functions perfectly for what I use it for, which right now is an extra window for temperature readouts and to watch twitch while I game. I also intend to use it for streamlabs, I may actually buy a second one because it fits perfectly under my monitor. I did have to increase text size to 125%.
