So I was looking at my computer, and I started wondering if removing the PCIe bracket covers would help with cooling, when I got the idea for a mounting a fan in the empty space in the bracket. I then went and googled "pcie bracket fan" and sure enough, I found a few blower style PCIe bracket fans on Newegg. I'm curious if anyone has any experience with these and how effective they are?

*I know LTT did a video on a PCIe water cooling rad for a graphics card but these seems to be a lot different being open fans

I would populate all of your fan slots first. Then possibly custom mount a regular fan in your empty slots, assuming you have enough room. Like a 92mm fan. I think pcie slots are 110mm or so wide. If you have 4-5 empty ones you could zip tie etc a fan in there.

Blower fans aren't that great and they are loud when they move fast enough to move air well. So I'd pass on the one you linked, personally.
