Need a CPU

I have recently bought a MSi B365M PRO-VH Micro ATX motherboard.

 

I have a GTX 960 and I might upgrade to a 970.

 

But first I need a CPU that isn't super expensive. And will not bottleneck the GPU. 

 

If I could get some suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.

If you can't return it, get a locked i7-8700 and call it a day.

 

It will perform just as good as anything AMD has at gaming and will work on the b365

I'm very confused as to why you would buy a motherboard without taking into account the CPU. 

Either way, a 9600k would pair well.
