I currently have a Ryzen 5 3600 on a MSI B550 Mortar Mag with 16gbs of Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB @ 3200mhz. I've been seeing a lot of people with 3600 and up scores in r20 and im only getting around 3400 max and its already on auto oc so my max boost is at 4.3ghz. Is there any way i can improve my bench score?

I cant answer you question, but you might wanna change that title.
Titles should be a short description of you problem, so people can tell what you want to ask just by looking at it.

Having titles such as "help", "i have a problem" etc. will only lead to people reading it and not feeling interested or bothered in looking into it and therefore resulting in you getting less to no help.

Remember: If you want me to see your reply - Quote me!

If your question has been solved, please mark the thread as solved by choosing the answer that has helped you the most as the correct/solving one.

Please also use appropriate titles. Titles should be a short description of your situation to get people interested in looking at your thread. Titles such as "help" or "i have a problem" (etc.) will only lead to you getting less to zero help, cause people won't be able to tell what this thread is about and therefore don't bother looking into it.

Do you know the other hardware you are comparing against? For example someone who has a better cooling solution, or faster clocked RAM with tighter timings, etc. is going to have better scores.

On that thought process, why are you stressing about a 5% difference? Why do you want to improve your "score" on a synthetic workload?

Ryzen generally doesn't have a big headroom for overclocking.

Enable pbo and see what that does.

Focus on memory overclocking, which will help more than an overclock to the cpu since it doesn't have a big headroom for that either way.

Part of me feels bad for linking this same status update for the third time in a short space of time, but I feel genuinely that it is relevant once again.

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.
