How can I test my VPN

Hi!

 

I've configured a VPN on my Raspberry Pi using this tutorial: http://raspberrypihelp.net/tutorials/21-pptp-vpn-server-raspberry-pi.

 

I did it without any problems and (I think) everything went fine. I forwarded port 1723 and canyouseeme.com can see me  ;) . Does this mean that there is no way it could fail or should I test it further? And if I do (and now this is most likely impossible) can I do it without needing to go outside my network? I don't have access to another one.
