server Which server should I get next?

Hi,

 

For roughly 100 office users we are currently using one server with the following specs:
HP Proliant ML350p Gen8
Xeon E5-2620 2.00GHz
32 GB RAM
Four: 10K SAS 600GB
Raid 10
One power supply

 

However we'd like to upgrade. Any suggestions?

The server is old and we are going to be upscaling in terms of users and buildings. Using it for general office use.

When is the server slow?

 

Do you have a budget?

 

rack mount or tower? 

 

How much storage do you need?

Check out Synology. I have a DS418 and it is unscalable and rated for prosumer/ small biz. They offer many products for a variety of situations. Mine is one of the smaller solutions they offer. Also, they have software to build your own mail server and application suite across platforms
