Upgrading from a OnePlus 2.

My brother needs an upgrade since he currently has a OnePlus 2. I've been looking at some phones but I'm not sure yet. I've been looking at the OnePlus Nord, looks cool and good from what it seems. But I'm not sure how budget phones usually hold up over time. The battery needs to be big. 4000mah ish (the more the better). Fast obviously, decent camera. 1080P display or better.

I've also been looking at the Galaxy S10, and OnePlus 7/7t

He wants to spend about what the OnePlus Nord costs. So I'm just looking for options, any good deals and good phones that are out there that I'm not aware of.

Buying a flagship phone from a year back is fine. As long as it's good.

And, he wants an Android phone.

If he wants a great camera with acceptable speed then the Pixel 4a is good.

There's also all the other Chinese brands to consider but I'm not so familiar with them.

Older Samsung's like the S9 and S10 are also good options if you can find them at a good price, but software support won't generally be as good.

From what i gather, all these phones have decent batteries. I would only really be concerned with products such as the pixel 4 and the iPhone SE (although both do a decent job in software to optimise battery)
