Ok so I have an MSI GL63 with an i5 8300h and a GTX 1050. When my 1050 is at full load, it won't go past 53 degrees celsius. When my CPU is at full load however, it stays around 85-95 degrees celsius. I tried undervolting the CPU but it only made like a one degree difference. I thought about re-applying my thermal paste. Any ideas of what I could do?

That's kind of to be expected in a gaming laptop, but they're still not thermal throttling temperatures.

Not sure how complicated repasting might be with your laptop, but it could be worth a shot. TG Kryonaut, TG Hydronaut, Arctic MX-4 and Noctua NT-H1/H2 - these are among the best non-metal thermal compounds out there. I'd advise against using LM in this case.
