No display after cpu over clock...

I just decided to oc my 4690k now I have no display. Mobo is ga z97x gigabyte gaming 3.

Followed this video https://youtu.be/0CHs5_TdpXE

Orginally it wouldn't boot so I drop the multiplier to 44 without changing voltage. Worked perfect until i turned off my pc. Now when I boot I have no picture.

Took out the mobo battery and reboot same thing.

Is there anything else I can do?

Clear CMOS. Either motherboard header or battery, but if you do battery you need to unplug it and hold down the power button to drain the power.

After removing the battery, would i need to connect hdmi to mobo or keep it on

my gpu?

Unplug all cables including power along with the battery and hold down the power button for a bit. Then plug it back into the GPU as normal.

I unplugged the power, took out the battery and left it overnight. That should be it right?

What other cable did I need to disconnect?

😕 Yeah, if a cmos reset doesn't do it, then I don't know what will, with my entry level knowledge of computers. Maybe the power requirements you set for the CPU stressed out the motherboard somehow, and it can't handle what you want it to do. But I can't really say for sure, you might have to take it to a service department so they can test it out.
