Hello everyone,

I have an ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 since a couple of weeks and I've always used the "fix" to disable the boost mode to run at maximum 3.0GHz (the base frequency) and have better cooling performance. Everything was working great until a couple of days ago: when in idle the CPU constantly goes to 1.4ish to 3.0GHz bouncing up and down every 3-4 seconds more or less and whenever I launch a game or whatever else the frequency goes up to 4.2+GHz like I've never turned off the boost mode, it's like my power plan settings are getting completely ignored. The CPU usage looks normal in the task manager and I already tried to look in the BIOS but you cannot touch this CPU from there (AMD Ryzen 9 4900HS).

Do you know how I can fix this?
